PRODUCT INFORMATION

Qualifying equipment:
To be eligible for the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund incentive, ductless heat pump systems installed through the project must be split system heat pumps employing inverter-driven outdoor compressor units, and inverter driven or variable speed indoor blowers. Inverter driven indoor units are preferred, as they increase overall system efficiency, but are not required for project eligibility.


PREFERRED MANUFACTURERS

The following manufacturers have been named as 'preferred' due to their positive engagement with the project and intention to support contractors with a well maintained distribution channel.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Technical manuals from all preferred manufacturers are available, and will be updated with the latest information available throughout the project.  Individual technical assistance will also be provided by manufacturer representatives, project team members and a community of regional contractors experienced with ductless heat pump installations.

A ductless sytem Homeowner Guide is available for download below. This guide is designed to help you maximize the efficiency of your ductless heating and cooling system and may be useful in conjuction with the manufacturer's manual you recieved with your system.
